With up to 4K 60p output, the DMP-BDT700 is designed to support an ultra high picture quality. Using a HDMI 2.0 terminal, you can connect to other 4K devices and enjoy crystal clear images and video. The DMP-BDT700 also incorporates 4K Direct Chroma Up-scaling for converting Full HD Blu-ray content into stunning 4K.

Alongside these picture and sound quality advances, the DMP-BDT700 also features a range of smart networking functions to give you the most flexible and intuitive home entertainment experience. This includes access to a wide variety of internet content via web browsing and internet applications, as well as Miracast capability which seamlessly mirrors content from your Miracast compatible smart device to your TV.

When it comes to displaying 4K images the DMP-BDT700 is the perfect device with its '4K JPEG Playback' which displays 4K images directly rather than the traditional process of first down-scaling to HD resolution and then up-scaling to 4K and losing some of the quality. The Uniphier LSI chip reproduces both detail and colour at four times the level of HD resulting in immersive images that transform HD content into truly unforgettable home cinema visuals.
Furthermore the viewer experience created by the DMP-BDT700 is amplified with the incredibly high quality audio which is exceeding expectations when processing digital and analogue audio signals.
