You can read the basic parameters from the label on the bottom of the laptop marked as INPUT or from the nameplate of the original power supply described as OUTPUT. 1. POWER (W) this number indicates the minimum value that the new power supply should have. There is nothing wrong with using a product with higher power. This will make it less stressed and therefore less hot.
