Levenhuk Halo 13x Wi-Fi Digital Night Vision Binoculars

The Levenhuk Halo 13x Wi-Fi Digital Night Vision Binoculars are digital night vision binoculars with Wi-Fi, which allows the unit to be controlled from a smartphone or tablet.

Detection range at night: up to 300 metres.

The device has glass optics with an anti-reflective coating made of silicon dioxide. This gives you sharper and clearer images in all lighting conditions, even in complete darkness. By day, you can view any object from a distance of three metres or more. At night, the limit for this model is 300 metres. A practical feature is that you can adjust the brightness of the built-in IR illumination. It has 7 brightness levels: The minimum level prolongs battery life; the maximum level achieves an extremely clear image. Note that at night the rendered image will be black and white, but during the day you can watch the world in all colours.

Integrated photo and video recorder

You can record all your observations in photo and video mode. The image resolution is 1280x960 pixels. However, to save space on the memory card, it can be reduced to 640x480 pixels. The frame rate of the clips is 30 FPS, so the videos are smooth and pleasant to watch. For a minimum of judder in the video, 24 FPS is sufficient. To improve the quality of the videos, this function should be increased on the device. Photos and videos are recorded on a memory card (cards with up to 32 GB are supported), and everything recorded can be viewed on the display of the device. You can transfer the data to a computer via a mini USB cable.

Up to 10 hours of continuous use without changing batteries

The binoculars feature an ergonomic, drip-proof housing with a non-slip surface. This makes the binoculars comfortable to hold. When you grasp it, the control buttons are directly under your fingers. The unit runs on standard commercial batteries, and in field conditions it is much easier to replace a set of batteries than to find an electrical outlet to recharge. One charge lasts for approximately 4-10 hours of continuous use; the length of battery life depends on how intensively the IR illumination is used.

Control via Wi-Fi with a smartphone or tablet

Wi-Fi makes it possible to control the unit with a smartphone or tablet. The signal range is about 15 metres. Download the app "NV Plus"" from the Apple App Store or Google Play and install it on the smart device. The app allows you to control the unit with a smartphone, including adjusting lighting brightness, taking photos and videos, and viewing, downloading and deleting recordings.
