The Vortex Ranger 1500 is a rangefinder in the range of Vortex. The Ranger 1500 is easy to operate by using the two buttons on the top of the unit. The rangerfinder measures the distance of objects from 10 to 1371 meters. The Ranger 1500 is waterproof and can be used during various weahter conditions. The lenses of the Ranger 1500 have been Fully multicoated with a special anti-reflection coating and provide a very clear and bright image.

Different Modes
The Vortex Ranger comes with three different modes: HCD, LOS and Scan. The HCD mode makes it possible to measures the horizontal distance to an object while you look at this object in an angle. The LOS (Line Of Sight) mode is mostly used by Hunters, because you can calculate which adjustments you will need for your rifle while hunting. The Scan mode is used to measure the distance of a moving object like a car or animal.
