The DMC-FZ200 is equipped with the world’s first 25-600mm (35mm camera equiv.) LEICA DC lens featuring full range f/2.8 aperture. The full range f/2.8 aperture enables capturing a moving subject in a distance clearly with fast shutter speed. The powerful 24× optical zoom can be used in photo and video recording. Thanks to the Intelligent Resolution technology, the 48× Intelligent Zoom is also available. The lens features the Nano Surface Coating technology that minimizes ghosts and flaring.
The 12.1-megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor and the Venus Engine elevate the response, sensitivity and image quality of the DMC-FZ200 even to the higher level. The High Sensitivity MOS sensor boasts excellent S/N ratio resulting in super clear image with less noise even in high sensitivity recording. Intelligent Noise Reduction system and Multi-process Noise Reduction system are also available to reduce noise and render dramatically clear images even in low-lit situation.
