The MG10AFA22TE from Toshiba's Enterprise Capacity Hard Drive MG10 series implements Microwave Assisted Magnetic Recording (FC-MAMR) technology to increase the density of conventional magnetic recording (CMR) to 2TB per disk, resulting in a total capacity of 22TB is achieved. The hard drive is designed for continuous operation with a workload of 550 TB per year. It also supports Toshiba Persistent Write Cache technology, which can improve performance when handling data in the event of a sudden power failure. This makes the MG series suitable for enterprise-class storage arrays as well as industrial server and storage systems.
