1The system software takes up considerable storage space. The available storage space depends on system software updates and app usage. 1 GB = 1 billion bytes.
2Surface Go: Up to 9 hours of battery life with local video playback. Testing conducted by Microsoft in June 2018 using a pre-production device with Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor, 128GB and 8GB of RAM. Tests included complete battery discharge during video playback. Only the default settings were used, with the following exceptions: The wireless LAN was connected to a network and the automatic brightness setting was disabled. Depending on the setting, usage, and other factors, the battery life may vary significantly.
Surface Go with LTE Advanced: Up to 8.5 hours of battery life with local video playback. The test was conducted by Microsoft in October 2018 on a pre-series device with Intel® Pentium® Gold processor 4415Y with 128 GB and 8 GB RAM LTE Advanced. The video playback was tested until the battery was completely discharged. All default settings were used. Exception: LTE enabled and device connected to LTE network. WLAN and Bluetooth in aircraft mode and automatic brightness disabled. Battery life is highly dependent on settings, usage, and other factors.
