If you or your loved ones experience, for example, dry skin, mouth, or throat, the AHS901 Air Humidifier from Blaupunkt, both an efficient, and at the same time an easy-to-use, appliance, will help you.<br><br>The AHS901 allows you to maintain optimum humidity at all times, in the range 40% to 80%, through its Humidistat, according to the preferences of individual users. Thanks to its built-in timer, you can set the time at which the unit will switch off automatically (after up to 10 hours). The maximum capacity of the appliance is 500ml/h. In addition to displaying the existing air humidity, the humidifier features a thermometer function showing you the temperature in the room.<br><br>Having satisfactorily moisturised air in your home is extremely important for your health, but it might not be enough to improve it. Protecting your health is particularly beneficial during the winter, when, due to dryness and its being the heating season, the air can have an exceptionally unfavourable impact on your health and well-being. There is also a special UV lamp inside the humidifier, which, by irradiating the air, eliminates fungal spores, viruses, and other micro-organisms, which can have a negative impact on us all.<br><br>With the AHS901 model, the goal is to minimise microbial transmission by droplets. This is achieved in three ways. Sterilisation impacts on both water and air. The air entering the humidifier is irradiated with UV-light. UV light is lethal to microorganisms and microbes. Moreover, the water is purified by boiling, and by the action of silver ions. The cartridge containing silver ions installed in the water tank stops the development of microorganisms. The function of heating the water to boiling point just before generating a hot mist significantly increases the efficiency of the air humidification, and eliminates fungal spores, bacteria, and viruses from the water.<br><br>The built-in LED display provides information about the existing temperature and humidity levels in the room. Thanks to the touch panel, you can programme your unit easily and seamlessly. The remote control allows you to regulate the appliance without having to access the humidifier. Filled from the top like a bucket, the 6-litre water tank guarantees extended working time with a single refilling.<br><br>The aromatherapy function featured in the AHS901 humidifier additionally soothes the senses, and stimulate and improve your mood. Simply remove the appropriate attachment, pour in a few drops of oil, then re-install the attachment, turn the appliance on, and enjoy your favourite aroma. Use only water-based fragrance preparations for aromatherapy.<br><br>The AHS901 humidifier features a built-in ioniser, which negatively ionises the air, thus effectively eliminating the harmful effects of TV’s, computers, radios, and other appliances. Air of such quality promotes well-being and reduces the number of bacteria in the room. By increasing the number of negative ions in the air, unpleasant odours are also eliminated.<br><br>The display can be easily turned off, which means you can also conveniently operate the humidifier at night, while everybody in your house is asleep. This way, you can rest assured that your child is sleeping in ideal conditions.
