Grzejnik zapewnia ciepło i komfort termiczny w pomieszczeniu. Efekt ten osiąga się dzięki długim falom podczerwonym, które powstają podczas podgrzewania włókna węglowego. Włókno węglowe ma wysoką przewodność cieplną, co pozwala zmniejszyć pobór prądu, a tym samym zaoszczędzić na ogrzewaniu. Podczas pracy grzejnik nie nagrzewa samego powietrza, ale ogrzewa otaczające go obiekty i ludzkie ciało (poprawia krążenie krwi w organizmie).
