Saate mõõta kahe roa temperatuuri, mis valmivad samal ajal erinevates kohtades. Näiteks üks võib olla pliidil ja teine grillil. Tänu ülekuumenemise hoiatuse seadistamise võimalusele saab termomeeter hoiatada, kui toiduvalmistamise temperatuur on kõrgem kui vaja. See takistab liha põletamist või küpsetise liiga kuivaks muutumist. Lisaks on sisseehitatud taimer. Seadme peamine funktsioon on klassikalise termomeetri oma, mis suudab mõõta laia temperatuurivahemikku. Hädaolukorras võib see näiteks asendada tavalist meditsiinilist kliinilist termomeetrit kehatemperatuuri mõõtmiseks. See võib mõõta ka vannivee temperatuuri ja sise- või välisõhu temperatuuri.
