How Does the BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance Filter Work?

  1. Super-fine mesh: catches large particles from old pipes, like sand or rust.
  2. Natural activated carbon pearls, derived from coconut shells, prevent chlorine and its derivatives, as well as trace contaminants like herbicides, pesticides, and pharmaceutical residues, from entering the filtered water.
  3. Ion-exchange pearls reduce metals like lead and copper and soften the water.
  4. An additional high-efficiency mesh provides four times better contaminant retention compared to the previous MAXTRA+ filter (30 m particle size).

Moreover, the PerfectFit mechanism guarantees complete filtration when using original BRITA cartridges.
