BRITA MAXTRA PRO Pure Performance filtration is a four-stage process:

  • Super fine mesh captures large particles from old pipes, such as sand or rust.
  • Natural activated carbon pearls made from coconut shells filter out chlorine and its derivatives, as well as trace contaminants like herbicides, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals (if present in tap water).
  • Ion-exchange pearls reduce metals like lead and copper and soften the water.
  • Additional high-efficiency mesh provides four times better contaminant retention compared to the previous MAXTRA+ filter (particle size of 30 m).

Additionally, the PerfectFit mechanism ensures all water is precisely filtered with original BRITA cartridges.
