Kompaktne ja vastupidav objektiiv on valmistatud lennukidisainides kasutatavast alumiiniumsulamist. See on 126 mm pikk ja kaalub 780 g (Sony E-kinnitus). Fookusrõngas on sujuv ja selle fookusvint on 189,6 kraadi. Uus objektiiv on saadaval viies erinevas kinnituses: Sony E, MFT, Canon EF-M, Nikon Z ja Fuji X.
