Das LAOWA Argus 33mm f/0,95 CF APO ist eine extrem lichtstarke Festbrennweite für APS-C Kameras und entspricht somit einem 50mm Kleinbildobjektiv. Die beeindruckende Lichtstärke von f/0,95 ermöglicht sehr kreative Low-Light-Aufnahmen sowie Ergebnisse mit extrem weichem Bokeh. Zur effektiven Minimierung der chromatische Aberration dienen ein Extra-Low-Dispersionsglas, eine asphärische Linse und drei Ultra-High-Refraction-Linsen. Somit ist es ideal für beeindruckende Porträts mit hervorragender Schärfe und Klarheit. Es ist aber auch in anderen Bereichen der Fotografie sehr universell einsetzbar.

Besonders Filmer profitieren vom stufenlos einstellbaren Blendenring für eine lautlose Blendenverstellung sowie dem geringen „Focus Breathing“. Bei vielen Objektiven kommt es zu kleinen Veränderungen des Bildausschnitts, wenn man am Schärfering dreht und die Schärfe innerhalb des Bildes verlagert - etwa von einem nah an der Frontlinse gelegenen Objekt zu einem weiter entfernten Objekt. Das Argus 33mm f/0,95 CF APO von LAOWA zeigt auch hier seinen professionellen Charakter und überzeugt mit diesem Feature. Die Naheinstellgrenze liegt bei gerade einmal 35cm. Das robuste Metallgehäuse des Objektivs ist trotz der enormen Lichtstärke sehr kompakt, optimal passend für die Systemkamera. Filter mit 62mm Durchmesser können an der Front angeschraubt werden. Die Fokussierung und Blendeneinstellung erfolgt manuell.
