Eine neue Liga in der Makrofotografie!

Fotos mit einem normalen Mikroskop und einem Kameraadapter haben aber diverse Nachteile. So ist deren Bildqualität relativ schlecht, insbesondere in den Ecken, das Vollformat wird kaum ausgeleuchtet und der Arbeitsabstand ist extrem gering. Das LAOWA Aurogon wurde deshalb speziell für die Mikroskop-Fotografie mit Vollformat-Kameras entwickelt. Es bietet dank der speziellen Konstruktion und der apochromatischen Korrektur eine für ein Mikroskop extrem hohe Bildqualität bis in die Ecken sowie einen großen Aufnahmeabstand.

Es besteht aus vier verschiedenen Tubuslinsen, die direkt an die Kamera angeschlossen werden und einem Frontobjektiv, welches jeweils auf den Tubus montiert wird. Die Tuben bieten Vergrößerungen von 10X, 20X, 35X und 50X. Die Länge der Tuben variiert zwischen 112 mm und 253 mm und das Gewicht zwischen 370 und 465g. Das Frontobjektiv hat eine Länge von 167 mm bei einem Durchmesser von 50 mm und einem Gewicht von 447g.

Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Linsen wird bei Mikroskop-Optiken häufig die „numerische Apertur" (NA) verwendet, die den „Aufnahmekegel eines Objektivs" beschreibt. Bei einer Mikroskop-Optik spiegelt die NA eher das Auflösungsvermögen eines Objektivs wieder als irgendetwas über die Lichtsammelfähigkeit. Je größer die numerische Apertur, desto besser kann eine Optik feinere Details sichtbar machen. Das neue Supermicro APO-Objektiv von LAOWA verfügt über NA-Werte (ähnlich der Blendenwerte eines normalen Objektivs) zwischen 0,15 und 0,5, welche in 8 Stufen am Frontobjektiv einstellbar sind.

Der minimale Objektabstand beträgt ganze 20 mm ab Frontlinse, unabhängig, welcher Vergrößerungstubus angeschlossen ist. Dank dieses relativ großen Abstands lassen sich recht einfach externe Lichtquellen verwenden.
Die Brennweite des kombinierten Frontobjektivs und Verlängerungsrohrs beträgt 18,8 mm für den 10fach-Tubus und verringert sich bis auf 5,56 mm, wenn der 50fach-Tubus verwendet wird.
Zur Befestigung an einem Makroschlitten oder Stativ sind spezielle Objektivhalteringe als Zubehör erhältlich.
