With the pioneering LONA technology (LOcalization & NAvigation), the smart SILENO life, 400m2 offers numerous options via the GARDENA smart app to configure the robotic lawnmower individually and to track every movement of the robotic lawnmower in real time. The robotic lawnmower now knows exactly where it is. Thanks to LONA, he is able to map the entire garden, create a map and use it for his mowing activities. This map is displayed in the GARDENA smart system app so that the owner can make numerous other settings here. For example, shady areas where the grass grows more slowly can be mowed less frequently or left out completely. Thanks to the zone management function, you can flexibly determine which areas should be mown, when and how often. With Area Protect you can even determine areas that the mower should not even go to, for example to protect a piece of wild meadow. The advanced CorridorCut function steers the robotic lawnmower as it easily mows in tight corners and passages just 60cm wide between the boundary wires. CorridorCut even navigates the robotic lawnmower out of tricky dead ends. The innovative spot cutting function, a spiral mowing function, allows the smart SILENO city to work in other hard-to-reach places. You can also control all other smart system irrigation devices via the app. The app is available to download for free for smartphones, tablets and PCs, and there are no subscription fees. The GARDENA SILENO city automatically keeps the stalks exactly to length. It is so quiet that you can hardly hear it mowing the grass and then returning to the charging station fully automatically. The GARDENA SILENO city is suitable for lawns of up to 400 square meters and can handle uneven terrain and gradients of up to 35%. The highly impact-resistant plastic housing makes the GARDENA SILENO city particularly robust. Even bad summer weather doesn't bother him. Thanks to its reliable functionality, it works regardless of the weather, even in the rain. The smart gateway ensures central networking. It can be placed inconspicuously in the living area and establishes an Internet connection via an existing router. As the heart of the smart system, it takes over wireless network communication between all GARDENA smart system devices in the garden and the GARDENA smart app. Two integrated high-performance antennas ensure a stable and secure connection even over long ranges.
