<b>Simple telephony</b><br>The corded Gigaset DESK 400 makes it simple and easy to make and receive calls. Four direct dial keys and ten speed dial keys give you quick ways to connect to important contacts. The phone offers you a choice of 3 melodies and volume levels to alert you to incoming calls, or you can switch off the ringer if you want quiet. The handset volume can be adjusted in 2 steps. The Gigaset DESK 400 can be used both as a desk phone and as a wall phone and always ensures optimal usability. For wall operation, the phone is simply attached using two screws.<br><br><b>Flexible use</b><br>The Gigaset DESK 400 is easy to use and also versatile, making it suitable for use at home or in the office. It is easy to install and can either be connected to the fixed network or used as part of an internal telephone network at home or in the office. The dialling method - tone or pulse - is also adjustable, as is the flash time for the enquiry function (using a slide switch). Pressing the mute button prevents the other party from hearing what is being said.<br><br><b>Quickly connected</b><br>With the help of the four direct dialling keys, important contacts are only a single keystroke away. In addition, up to ten phone numbers can be stored as speed dials, allowing you to quickly connect with the people you talk to frequently. On the enclosed paper insert, the names of the persons are noted for the respective phone numbers and are thus always in view. To quickly call back the last person you called, simply use the redial function to make contact.<br><br><b>Hearing aid compatible</b><br>Hearing aid in the ear and telephone at the ear - this often causes unwanted background noise that makes every telephone call with a hearing aid a burden. The Gigaset DESK 400 is an asset especially for people with impaired hearing. Thanks to certification in accordance with the European ITU-T P.370 standard, it enables users of hearing aids with inductive transmission to make phone calls without disturbing noise.Gigaset DESK 400.
