Powerful 256-bit AES encryption
Transcend's ESD270C supports 256-bit AES encryption to securely and reliably protect data at the hardware level. AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) is a cryptographic algorithm defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Encryption and decryption are processed strictly within the SSD controller and completely independent of any operating system or program, making hardware-based AES impossible to decrypt.

The ESD270C is equipped with a convenient auto-backup button for instant data backup, in use with Transcend Elite software. (Note: Transcend Elite software is required for the One-Touch Auto-Backup feature).
