The Honeywell XC100D carbon monoxide sensor is suitable for homes with a gas-water heater. Honeywell carbon monoxide sensors are the only ones in Europe that can withstand moisture and water vapor, so they are suitable for installation in the bathroom. The sensor must be mounted on the wall (the necessary screws and dowels are included). The sensor has a built-in battery that lasts for the entire life of the sensor, that means up to 10 years. The sensor has a volume of 90 dB and is equipped with an Alarm Scan function that allows you to connect the sensor to your smartphone. In the Alarm Scan smart application, it is possible to see the life of the sensor, see the alarms, and much more. The sensor stores 1 week of information that is easy to view later.

The manufacturer's instructions must be followed when installing the sensor. Experienced experts recommend installing the sensor at the breathing height, which means at the level in the living room where the person's face is sitting on the sofa, and in the bedroom at about the height of the pillow. The carbon monoxide sensor does not replace the smoke detector or vice versa!
