The use of two hard drives in the form of RAID arrays is popular due to their many advantages. The ICY BOX IB-RD3621U3 RAID system helps and converts 3.5-inch SATA hard drives into an efficient RAID array. Replacing hard drives is easy thanks to the EasySwap technology.

The following options are available: RAID 0, LARGE and RAID 1. Higher data transfer rates, data mirroring for greater reliability, detection of hard drives as single drives, both hard drives as one large disk. Striping (RAID 0) is particularly interesting, powered by a modern USB 3.0 port - the transfer rate reaches up to 5 Gb per second. An eSATA port is also available to connect to a PC or Mac. In the case of IC-BOX IB-RD3621U3 for production, lightweight plastic is used. The lifetime of hard drives is much bigger thanks to the mounted fan with a diameter of 6 cm, actively supporting the ventilation of the device.
