Die leistungsstarken Studioblitzgeräte liefern kurze Abbrennzeiten von 1/800-1/1200 s und haben eine schnelle Blitzfolgezeit. Ist das Blitzgerät bereit wird dies anhand einer LED oder eines Signaltons angezeigt. Durch die übersichtlichen Digital- und LED-Anzeigen sind alle Parameter immer im Blick. Das helle Einstelllicht lässt bereits vor der Aufnahme die Lichtwirkung erkennen und ist genau wie die Blitzleistung stufenlos und proportional über 5 Blendenstufen regelbar (voll bis 1/32 Leistung). Die Blitzauslösung kann über die mitgelieferten Kabel oder die spezielle Infrarot-Servozelle erfolgen. Die PII-Serie besitzt einen eingebauten 2,4 GHz Funkempfänger mit 16 Kanälen. Optional erhältlich ist der TP II Funkauslöser für Kamera-Mittenkontakt. Für die Verwendung von Kompaktkameras mit Vorblitz besteht eine einstellbare Unterdrückungsmöglichkeit am Studioblitz, so dass der Studioblitz nicht schon
bei den Vorblitzen auslöst. Durch die leise Gebläsekühlung ist effizientes Arbeiten auch im Dauerbetrieb kein Problem. Die Blitzröhre ist - profilike - vom Anwender selbst wechselbar.
