Manfrotto Reflector 120 cm Diffuser -2 f-stops. Diffusion screens are used between the light source and the subject to create a softer light. Diffusion screens are available with different densities. This diffusion screen reduces light by 2 f-stops. A diffuser can also be used to soften a strong light source. Sunlight from a clear sky gives very harsh light which results in high contrast and sharp shadows. Without a diffuser, the shadows become completely black without any detail or the illuminated side is overexposed.
