Citroen Traction 11CVBL - Executive Edition

Licensed by the automotive giant from France, the EXECUTIVE EDITION version of the Citroen Traction 11CV BL car is a set that adds up to a huge dose of history that you will build block by block! The original car was produced between 1937 and 1957 and was distinguished by its self-supporting body and front-wheel drive. The commonly accepted and also unofficial name of the car is Traction Avant, meaning front drive from French. Our model is fitted with the historic emblems of the French Forces de l'Intérieur (Forces françaises de l'Intérieur). The FFI was a unified organisation uniting all the parties of the French Resistance during the Second World War!

An integral part of the set is a special figure of General Charles Delestraint. He was a famous general who was active in the Resistance and organised the Resistance in Lyon. After a secret visit to London, he was to lead the Armée secrte. He was arrested by the Gestapo and executed in Dachau on 19 April 1945. Alongside the general, we also find a private member of the French Resistance (Resistance) soldier in his distinctive uniform and arm band! The set is completed with an exclusive black block display stand for the car printed with the model name.

The Citroen Traction 11CV BL car has been meticulously reproduced from COBI building blocks. The car complements the extensive collection of historic vehicles published in model scale 1:35.

The 300-piece set includes not only the car with rotating wheels, opening doors, but also an exclusive block stand with laser engraving and figures of historical characters.

The set contains only high-quality prints, which do not rub off even during intensive use.
