CU cable standard

Structure
  1. Conductor: Depending on the model, made of copper or copper-aluminum alloy. It is responsible for Ethernet signal transmission.
  2. Sheath: Protects the conductor from mechanical damage and adverse environmental conditions.
  3. Insulation: Each patchcord is equipped with insulation, which effectively separates the individual pairs of conductors.
  4. Polyethylene separator: Separates conductor pairs, maintains their even distribution and reduces crosstalk, resulting in more stable cable geometry and higher signal quality for high-speed network connections.
Network cable categories

The differences in bandwidth between Category 5e, 6, 6a, 7 and the most advanced Category 8 network cables are crucial to the performance and application of computer networks.
