With the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B HPTX tower, we present a slightly modified revision of the popular big tower from the next generation of silent PC cases.<br><br>The Nanoxia Deep Silence series has already won more than 150 awards from the international trade press. The innovative design and the exceptional quality certainly delight experts and enthusiasts alike.<br><br>Based on the suggestions of our fans and customers, our design team has developed meaningful optimizations in the context of product development, which are reflected in the present revision. A particular novelty is the newly developed 6 x 2.5 "mounting frame for space-saving installation of up to six HDD / SSD.<br><br>The gigantic tower not only offers enormous space, but also innovative technologies, like the "Active Air Chimney" for active improvement of the case ventilation.<br><br><b>Prominent features of our Deep Silence case series:</b><br><br>- Classic design - Made in Germany<br>- Particularly quiet thanks to its integrated sound dampening system and focused design<br>- Highly efficient, stealthy ventilation system<br>- Maximum functionality and adaptability<br><br>The Deep Silence 6 is in the Rev. B again equipped with two soundproof doors: Behind the upper cover the user will find four 5.25 inch bays, a 2-channel fan control (with sliders), as well as the reset-button. Behind the second door, two low-noise 140 mm fans are mounted. Magnets integrated in the doors ensure a fast closing and easy opening.<br><br>The I/O-panel can be found in the top cover of the case. As many as 4 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, Mic, and Audio connectors are available. A practical sliding lid makes it possible to hide the connectors when they are not needed. The top cover also holds the unique “Active Air Chimney” for effective, active case ventilation. The Chimney is easily retractable. This ensures that the simple look of the case is maintained, without sacrificing useful features and options for ventilation.<br><br>You can mount HTPX, E-ATX, XL-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards in the Deep Silence 6. Whether you are planning a particularly smooth-running high-end gaming system with extensive water cooling or are looking for an enclosure that can be used perfectly as a data storage server with multiple hard drives - the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B is perfect for you.<br><br><b>Almost noiseless</b><br><br>In the course of the development of our Deep Silence case series the focus has always been on two requirements: minimize noise and minimize system temperatures.<br><br>As with all the Deep Silence cases, specially designed, noise reducing insulation materials are used to minimize and absorb any noises. The materials used have been manufactured in accordance with the specifications of our designers and are meant to absorb both structure and airborne noise. The solid front doors use sound absorbing materials contribute significantly to the most effective noise reduction.<br><br>Hard disks and the PSU use anti-vibration mounting solutions. By using the highest quality materials, optimal noise insulation is ensured while at the same time providing a very stable case.<br><br>Also responsible for the quietness of the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B are the five pre-installed 140 mm “Deep Silence” fans. This fan-series was optimized for the best possible mix of silence and cooling capacity.<br><b><br>Intelligent ventilation system</b><br><br>The ventilation system of the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B is designed for the most demanding users and can be extended generous.<br><br>Behind the front cover, two 140 mm fans rotate at a maximum of 1,100 RPM. The fans are located in special swiveling brackets which allow for simple removal of the fans and easy access to the serial dust filters. Another fan with 1,100 RPM is located in the rear of the case.<br><br>Thanks to the integrated fan control for up to eight fans, an individual compromise between low system temperatures and the lowest possible noise level can be achieved, even with a full fan assembly.<br><br>The innovative Nanoxia Active Air Chimney makes it easy to adapt the case to your needs. It can be closed during normal operations, in order to preserve the clean look of the case line. Under extreme conditions the Air Chimney can, as easily as switching a button, be set to provide actively enhanced case ventilation. The two pre-installed fans under the cover will automatically start if the chimney is opened. Thus the warm air is dissipated quickly and effectively from the case. When the Air Chimney is closed, the fans will be deactivated again.<br><br>You can mount a total of three 120 or 140 mm fans under the top cover and operate them with the Active Air Chimney.<br><br>In order to optimize the cooling of the graphics card, two additional 120 or 140 mm fans can be mounted in the left side panel. At the bottom of the case, either one 140 mm or two 120 mm fans can be accommodated. All air intake openings of the case equipped with effective dust filters.<br><br>The special designed Mounting Bracket for two 120 or 140 mm fans, which is fitted to the hard disk cage, can be easily dismounted. With the bracket, the ventilation of the hard drives and the entire system can be increased significantly, if desired. It is suited for up to two 120/140 mm fans.<br><b><br>Watercooling Ready</b><br><br>The Deep Silence 6 Rev. B is ideally suited for the most demanding water cooling projects. The top cover offers special lateral attachment points which provide maximum compatibility, especially when using very thick radiators. Those can be used to install 120/140/240/280 and 360 mm radiators. Thanks to the immense space available you can operate even massive radiators in a push-pull mode with fans on both sides.<br><br>The mounting bracket behind the HDD-cage allows the internal assembly of a water cooling system (120/140 or 240/280 mm radiator) and up to four fans between HDD cage and motherboard - without colliding with the motherboard or power supply. Radiators may thus be cooled without case modifications in a push-pull set-up. In conjunction with the two pre-installed 140 mm Deep Silence fans behind the front up to six fans provide for a superior cooling performance of the water cooling system.<br><br>Four additional rubber hose guides for external water cooling solutions can be found on the rear side.<br><br><b>Versatile Features</b><br><br>The Nanoxia Deep Silence 6 in the Revision B offers again a variety of very convenient product features:<br><br>A special feature of the case is the mounts for the front fans. Behind the lower door, 2 dust filter equipped holding frames can be found, each receiving one of the 140 mm fan. A simple pressure on the holding frame (it works using the push-pin principle) releases the anchoring, the flap can be opened, and dust filter and fan can be removed and cleaned very easily. It's that simple!<br><br>The optical drives can be mounted without requiring tools. Two 5.25 inch to 3.5 inch adaptor are included to permit for example the installation of a card reader. If you want, you can use those to mount additional hard disk drives.<br><br>The massive tower is designed for a total of up to sixteen hard disk drives. By using the 5.25 inch to 3.5 inch adapters, you can even install a total of 18 data storage devices. The hard drives are installed in special mounting carriages, which are designed to accommodate both 2.5" HDD / SSD as well as 3.5" HDD. Screws with rubber suspension are used to hold the drives in place.<br><br>A special feature of the Deep Silence 6 Rev. B is the newly developed 2.5 inch mounting frame for up to six 2.5" HDD/SSD. For installation, the mounting frame will need three 3.5 inch bays. If you do not want to use this unique feature, sufficiently 3.5 inch mounting carriages are included to use all available slots.<br><br>The big tower also features a modular 3-bay HDD cage.
