  • ActiveTrack - Spark automatically detects objects of different shapes and sizes and then tracks them according to their movement speed.
  • Gestures - Deep learning gesture recognition allows you to record selfies with simple hand gestures. In PalmControl mode you can manually control the movement of the Spark.
  • Camera:
  • Spark's mechanical 2-axis gimbal and UltraSmooth technology dramatically reduce camera shaking and rolling shutter effects, keeping shots stable and detailed.
  • High-performance lens: All Spark images are consistently sharp and vibrant with very little color deviation and distortion. The Spark camera has an f/2.6 wide-angle lens with an equivalent focal length of 25 mm.
  • 1/2.3'' sensor: The small and compact Spark camera features a 1/2.3'' CMOS sensor that lets you capture stabilized video at 1080p and still images at 12 MP.
  • Versatile Capturing Modes: Spark takes over all previous DJI drone recording modes and adds two new ones: Pano and ShallowFocus
  • Flight performance:
  • Powerful motion: Gimbal and camera are flush with the aircraft, which significantly increases stability. The powerful engines provide constant flight in strong winds at up to 50 km/h in sport mode.2
  • HD Wi-Fi video transmission: Innovative HD Wi-Fi technology enables 720p real-time video transmission from up to 2 kilometers distance.3
  • Uncompromised flight time: Despite all Spark's intelligent functions, the flight time is not impaired. Fly for up to 16 minutes on a fully charged battery.4
  • FPV flight: In Sports mode, the gimbal mode automatically sets to First Person View (FPV) so that the camera moves with you during the flight. For an enhanced FPV experience, use DJI glasses.5
  • Flight safety:
  • FlightAutonomy: Spark's FlightAutonomy system includes the main camera, the Vision Positioning System (VPS), the 3D sensor system, dual-band GPS, a high-precision inertial measurement unit (IMU) and 24 powerful processing units. With VPS support, Spark can hover precisely at a distance of up to 30 m (98 ft), detect obstacles at a distance of up to 5 m (16 ft) and land safely.
  • Return-To-Home: Spark can automatically return to its home location with sufficient GPS signal. If the battery becomes too low, the connection is interrupted or you press the Return to Home (RTH) button, Spark flies back to the preset home point while detecting obstacles in its path. Spark's downward facing camera takes pictures of the surroundings of the home point and references these pictures during the RTH for a safe landing.
  • Smart battery: Spark uses a high-density LiPo battery for optimum performance. 12 intelligent protection functions ensure a safe flight. In addition, the economy battery estimates the remaining flight time and informs you when you need to land in real time.
