The 1/2.3-type (1/2.3 inch) back-illumination sensor has a large effective area and 34% larger pixels compared to a typical use 1/5.8-type (1/5.8 inch) sensor, suppressing noise when shooting at places with little light, such as indoors or at night. The images are astonishingly beautiful down to the smallest details.
20x optical zoom with 4-drive lens system
The lens system drives the four lens groups separately, reducing the drive distance. This ensures top quality images, motorized zooming, and a compact camera body. This keeps the housing compact, even at a 20x optical zoom.
Stable, level recordings and less distortion
The HYBRID OIS + (Optical Image Stabilizer) uses 5-axis stabilization to suppress distortion well from wide angle to beautiful zoom shots. The level recording function automatically detects and corrects the tilt of captured image.
Slow Motion Video
Smooth slow-motion video allows you to capture the emotionality of everyday scenes.
Microphone with noise reduction
Special damping material is provided in the space between the microphone and the microphone net to suppress wind noise for clear recordings at all times.
