Slim Fit

A slimmer induction cooktop means extra storage space in the kitchen. The design of the hob has been reduced from 52 to 44 mm, allowing it to be fitted into worktops of varying thicknesses - as thin as 10 mm. It also means that more space can be gained, e.g. for a larger under-hob storage drawer, and it becomes much easier and cheaper to install the hob and oven under the hob.

Safe to use

The Samsung induction hob only heats under the cookware placed on it, which minimises the risk of burns. Activating the safety lock by pressing the relevant icon for 3 seconds ensures that the hob is locked. This gives its user the confidence that children will not accidentally start it. In addition, if the cooking zone setting is not changed for a longer period of time, the hob will be switched off. Also, in the event of a malfunction, e.g. overheating, the appliance will automatically switch off.

The pause function increases convenience and safety in the kitchen. One touch is all it takes to minimise the power of all cooking zones. A second touch will restore the original settings.
