To avoid these problems, it is enough to ensure that the room has the right level of humidity. The recommended level of humidification of the air we breathe ranges from 40% to 60%. Within this range, the likelihood of health problems exacerbated by dry air is minimised. Unfortunately, the autumn-winter period, when the heating is on, means that the air humidity in apartments can be reduced by up to half. AHS803 is the latest model of air humidifier by Blaupunkt, which allows you to constantly maintain optimal humidity of air, while cleaning it of impurities, which significantly improves the comfort of staying in the room and positively affects your health. At the same time, it has an excellent humidifying capacity of 400 ml/h. The Humidistat equipped with the device monitors the humidity of the air and ensures its constant humidification. Simply select a humidity target value between 40% and 80%, and the humidifier will start and stop oscillating around the target value. You can also choose the automatic mode that will maintain a humidity of 55% - 68% by adjusting the humidification intensity to the ambient conditions. Thanks to the built-in timer, you can set the operating time from 1 to 10 hours after which the device will switch off. This will also be the case if the water tank is empty, so the humidifier will not run dry or be damaged. The AHS803 model is also equipped with a thermometer function, which informs the user about the temperature in the room, as well as a “hot mist”, which, when the appropriate button is pressed, activates the heater that heats the water mist. Maintaining an adequate level of air humidity at home is extremely important for health, but it may not be enough to improve it when there is still a lot of dust, pollen, fungi, bacteria, viruses and other contaminants around you. Luckily, the AHS803 air humidifier also copes with this problem. Thanks to the HEPA H13 filter, which stops 99.95% of impurities and PM 2.5 and PM 10 dusts, this model is the perfect choice for allergy sufferers and people with respiratory problems. In addition to the filter, there is also a UV lamp inside the device, which irradiates the air and eliminates spores of fungi, viruses and other micro-organisms that can have a negative impact on your health. The ioniser is another function worth paying attention to. All electronic devices found in homes or offices emit positive ions into the air that are harmful to the body. The ioniser in the AHS803 humidifier supplements the deficiency of negative ions in the air, making the air brisk and fresh. It also reduces the number of pollen, bacteria and mites, making the air healthier, especially for allergy sufferers. By increasing the amount of negative ions in the air, unpleasant odours are also eliminated. This triple purification system ensures that the air that comes out of the humidifier not only has the correct humidity level, but is also free of any impurities and safe for your body. One should not forget about the aromatherapy capabilities of the AHS803 model. Thanks to a dedicated attachment, the user can enjoy the chosen fragrance, which will soothe the senses, stimulate, and improve mood. Simply place a few drops of water-based fragrance oil on a special sponge, insert the attachment and turn on the device to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy. The large LED display on the front panel shows the relative humidity, current ambient temperature and the remaining time until the humidifier is switched off, as well as all active functions. There is an intuitive touch panel under the display for controlling the humidifier, thanks to which each the user can easily and intuitively program the device. A remote control is included so there is no need to approach the humidifier to change settings. The AHS803 can also be used at night thanks to its ability to turn off the display and the sounds that accompany pressing the function keys. Quiet humidifier operation, with a noise level does not exceed 35 dB, guarantees healthy and peaceful sleep of the household members, in the most comfortable conditions. The AHS803 air humidifier is also distinguished by its unique aesthetics. Elegant colours combining white, grey and black are emphasised by LED backlighting, which acts as a mood light. In night mode, both the display and the light go out. To reduce water hardness, the AHS803 humidifier uses a resin filter. Thanks to this treatment, the user does not have to worry about limescale deposits on the floor and furniture in the immediate vicinity of the humidifier. It is recommended to replace the filter every 3-6 months (depending on the hardness of the water). The AHS803 includes an additional set of water and air filters. ATTENTION!
